Achieving a bigger dimension, making the event even more popular and allowing a greater number of participants, it will be held on Saturday, June 16th with several formats for families and children.

The kids races

The Aquathlon combines a swimming (pool) and a short running part to make this event and the sport accessible to everyone. A little village with animations and partners will be installed on the waterfront to inform the public attending the event and introduce more young people in this sport

Children and family events

Distances and categories refer to the settlement of the French Triathlon Federation.

  • 6 – 11 years (2001 to 2006) Mini-Poussins/Poussins/Pupilles : 50m Swim / 400m Run
  • 12 – 13 ans (1999 à 2000) Benjamins : 150m Swim / 1200m Run
  • 14 – 15 ans (1997 à 1998) Minimes : 250m Swim / 1600m Run
  • From 16 ans (from 1995) "Découverte" : 300m Swim / 2000m Run

The swimming part will take place in a pool.

The village animations

The village is split into two parts:

The stand "discovery" around which the participants will participate in interactive activities such as tutorials, practical sessions, etc...
The Discovery stand are:

  • Health and nutrition
  • Prevention and Sports
  • Stretch and relaxation
  • Eco-friendly approach
  • Etc…

Theplay areas will offer sport courses, exercises and tips on best practices. The play areas are:

  • Park Aquathlon Cycling: testing several bikes (motor, Sprint, ...)
  • Running Zone: Exercises (sprint pace, specific session ...) and an advice section (race management, buying the right equipment

Each participant will have a "Pass Triathlon Tour" that will allow them to be part in each animation on "discovery stand" and the play areas to participate in a lottery of TriStar Deauville!
