TriStar TEAM - the TEAM event

COMING IN 2012!!!

The T5 Team Event will be held over the classic TriStar111 distance

• 1km SWIM
• 100km CYCLING
• 10km RUN

General Idea:

Bringing a new approach to Triathlon! We make an individual sport to a team sport!

Details:

• The first triathlon event featuring teams to compete.
• Teams composed by 5 athletes
• Professionals and amateurs (open to anyone, no separation of pros and age group athletes!)
• Mass-start and team drafting race
• Male and female teams
• Team support cars
• Limited number of teams

Rules:

• drafting is allowed only within the team, not with other teams
• identical uniforms for all team members
• the third team member's time will be used for classification (means that 2 athletes can drop out)
• all athletes should stay together during the entire race - if less than 3 athletes cycle together, the team will be disqualified
