Take a walk on the run side

One funny thing in Monaco is that you can walk the circuit of the Formula One Grand Prix! Save a couple of hours to sight-see along the run loop. There are plenty of great spots to discover: start from the Larvotto Beach and head West, a quiet and sunny coastal walk that will bring you to the peaceful and unexpected Japanese Garden. Cross the famous Formula 1 Grand Prix tunnel, where you will find yourself in the Monaco harbor and to your left, super yachts and sunny restaurants’ terraces. Make a U-turn at La Rascasse famous F1 bend, and go uphill on the "Montée d'Ostende", discover the Grand Casino and its luxurious cars. On your way down, enjoy the Casino garden and terrace overlooking the Mediterranean, speed up downhill into the Loews F1 hairpin bend and finish back at the Larvotto, you did the loop! You deserve a refreshing cocktail and maybe a nap on a deckchair of one of the beach restaurants! Yes You can!

Oceanographic Museum and Aquarium

This is not just another museum, you will love it. After you admire the amazing architectural design of Monaco’s Oceanographic Museum and Aquarium, you can venture inside to enjoy two floors of marine life, sea creature skeletons, and a shark lagoon. This great museum dedicated to the sea's science is probably the best aquarium in Europe, with nearly 4,000 fish and around 350 different species.

There’s even a restaurant and bar on the roof – La Terrasse – with a commanding and spectacular view of Monaco, the Riviera and the Mediterranean. A must!

Have you always wanted to see a movie outdoors? The Monaco Open Air Cinema seems particularly favorable to such a moment of relaxation. The black room exhibits walls of the the sea, the sky and the stars... The screenings are held throughout the summer season on top of the panoramic rooftop Fishermen parking station, located on the seafront of the Rock. Indulge yourself with an aperitif of champagne & popcorn in the cinema just under the sky!

Jardin Exotique

Monaco's mild climate lends itself to the flourishing of the many different kinds of plants in this botanical garden. Le Jardin Exotique, the “Exotic Garden”, rests on the side of a cliff and boasts several thousand plant and flower species, many of which are in bloom all year long. The flora and the view are truly beautiful. You can sit in various places throughout the garden to relax and enjoy the view of Monaco and the Mediterranean. It’s really a peaceful place. There is also a grotto that has scheduled tours.

Prince’s Palace and change of Guard

The Prince's Palace is located at the summit of the Rock in the Old Town of Monte Carlo. It is the official residence of Prince Albert II, the head of state, Monaco. It is also one of the most popular tourist attractions in the city of Monte Carlo. The area around the Prince's Palace has a breath-taking and spectacular view of Monte Carlo harbor and marina. The daily changing of guards is held outside the Prince's Palace at 11.55 a.m. sharp. While you are on the Rock, enjoy a quiet lunch in one of the many restaurants in the numerous narrow streets of peaceful “Old Town”.
