If you participated at a TriStar race in 2010, you have most probably seen them around: Max-Fux foxtails. Those funny keyrings have been offered to each participant by our partner Max Fields, the communications agency distributing Max-Fux foxtails. They added some fun to TriStar races in 2010, and we talked to Michael Schumacher, CEO of Max Fields iat TriStar222 Sardinia. Michael participated in that race, by the way.

Do you have funny pictures of yourself wearing the Max-Fux foxtail at the races? Or elsewhere? Post them on our Facebook wall and win a free entry to the race of your choice in 2010. Yes, you can!

TriStar222 Sardinia? You might have noticed that the definite date for the 2011 race has not yet been confirmed and due to the limited time that separates us from September, after considering all aspects of organizing a race with a notice this short, we took a decision to postpone the TriStar222 to 2012. You can thus look forward to the next year’s edition which we already started to prepare for all of you - fans of the unique distance and the marvelous island. The exceptional distance of 222 kilometers has indeed proved to be very popular and Sardinia is a place offering an exquisite beauty to enjoy. An ideal place for a TriStar race? Absolutely! Good things come to those who wait and everyone interested in coming to Sardinia will be rewarded for his or her waiting next year.

The 2010 edition of TriStar222 Sardinia Arzachena Costa Smeralda is over, and all our team is now working hard looking forward to 2011.

We would like - actually we're honoured - to thank all our sponsors, partners and the communities that helped and supported us. And last, but not least, everyone that acted as a protagonist "on the field" during the world premiere of the 222 distance last 3 OCT in Sardinia.

So 222 times thank you to:

  • Athletes
  • Supporters and spectators
  • Moto Club Porto Cervo
  • Villacidro Triathlon
  • Sardinia Mare
  • Palau Police, Nautical Squad
  • Costa Eventi
  • All the Civil Protections, in particular "Agosto 89" and "Arzachena Costa Smeralda"
  • Volunteers
We asked you to become an ambassador of our "YES, YOU CAN!" phylosophy, being a positive example. We just want to remember what our little Giacomo, a very young but enthusiastic spectator that became our mascotte by standing on the run course for 4 hours or more cheering!, said loud from the speakers, while the first athletes already finished the trial and most of the others were running:
"Triathletes are just great: they're always smiling and everyone's giving me 'high fives'!!"
This is at last more than all the best we can expect by the "emotional" point of view. You can bet, we will work hard to improve the event to make it more and more better.
In the end, all together... Let's say it: YES, WE CAN!
Thank you and see you in 2011!
